Our vision and purpose
For decades, rigorous strategic planning has been a luxury. A mid-sized nonprofit could expect to pay $20,000 or more and wait months for an outside firm to interview stakeholders, run a retreat, and deliver a binder. Smaller organizations simply went without, or settled for a plan written by one exhausted executive director over a weekend.
We built StrategyAlly to close that gap. Our purpose is to put a disciplined, evidence-based planning process within reach of every mission-driven organization, at roughly 4% of the traditional cost, and on a timeline measured in days, not quarters. The money you don't spend on consulting is money that goes to the cause.

I've run foundations, founded nonprofits, and sat on more nonprofit boards than I can count. Every one of those roles came with a strategic planning cycle.
Some were run by outside consultants who charged more than the organization could afford and left behind a binder nobody opened again. Some were run by an exhausted executive director over a long weekend. A few were genuinely good, and even those went quiet the week after the board voted.
Through all of it I always thought there had to be a better way. In every organization the answers were already there, in its data, its people, and its community. What was missing was a disciplined process to bring them together, and a way to keep the plan alive after it was approved.
StrategyAlly is that process. I'm still running an organization today, so this is the tool I wanted and couldn't find. If you'd like to see it with me, I'm happy to walk you and your team through it personally.
